This Spring, there are several new initiatives that the organization is pursuing in order to better serve our membership. Some of these include:
- A partnership between the University of Maryland Football Program and the Maryland Football Coaches Association. This new partnership includes:
- Three membership meetings at the University of Maryland during the Spring of 2024:
- February 13th
- March 14th
- April- Brief meeting will take place during the UMD Spring Clinic
- A more involved role in the planning and facilitation of the University of Maryland Spring Football Clinic
- The continued partnership between the University of Maryland Football Program and the Maryland Football Coaches Association regarding the Maryland Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame Ceremony, which will be held in Gossett Team House again this year on April 27th
- The ability for members to renew their membership to the MFCA through online payment.
- The second annual Junior Skills Development Camp will be run in conjunction with the Baltimore Ravens at their indoor facility!
- A new nomination process put in place to select the 2025 Big 33 Coaching Staff
